Northwest Suburban Council Congratulates Max B. for earning the Dr. Bernard Harris Supernova Award

The Schaumburg Boomers joined staff and Supernova Mentor from Northwest Suburban Council in congratulating Max B. for earning the Dr. Bernard Harris Supernova Award on Saturday, August, 9th. He is the second Boy Scout in the Council to earn this prestigious award, which demonstrates superior achievement in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics [STEM]. In recognition of his hard work and accomplishments, he is being presented with the Supernova Medal, as well as a certificate of achievement.

The Supernova Award relies heavily on volunteer adult mentors who assist the Scout in all facets of earning the award. The recipient and council would like to thank his mentor, Michael Groble, and he was presented with a special Supernova Mentor lapel pin from the Scout. Thank you to Lisa Earley, STEM Specialist and all of the adult volunteers who make Scouting possible!

Let's have a round of applause for Max!
