Scouts Test Concept of Achieving #STEM Nova WHOOSH Award Zip Lining @ Lake Geneva Canopy Tours

The STEM WHOOSH Nova Award module is designed to help Scouts explore how engineering affects their life each day. Yesterday, we had a few Boy Scouts test the concept of achieving the STEM Nova WHOOSH Award zip lining at Lake Geneva Canopy Tours (LGCT). You'll see the Scouts working with the Nova Counselor explaining that they watched the TV show "How it's Made," and describing and showing their work on the Robotics and Rifle Shooting Merit Badges. The Scouts said they enjoyed the "hands-on learning experience of motion or motion-inspired technology" and with big smiles they confirmed that "gravity is a force."
